Enjoy a stroll along the beach, indulge in delicious locally sourced seafood, or make memories at exciting seafront attractions such as Adventure Island in Southend-on-Sea, which is also where you’ll find the world’s longest pier! If you’re the adventurous type, Essex is the perfect place to try out some water sports and other outdoor activities - try your hand at paddle boarding in Maldon or take on the Nuclear High Ropes in Brentwood.
