About

After a two year enforced break Al Festo 2022 returns to the Sun Inn in Dedham.  A mini-festival without the camping that mixes the best of Americana and Folk music with craft beer and great food in beautiful surroundings with wonderful people.

11 acts play over the weekend of 9th-10th July,  from 12pm until 6pm (due to licensing and neighbours, the festival has to finish each day at 6pm with the garden empty by 8pm).

On tap, there will be 15 craft ales, stouts, lagers and ciders from: Crouch Vale, Adnams, Tiny Rebel, Siren Craft, The Wild Beer Company, Oakham Ales, Calvors, Purple Moose, Aspall Cider, Thornbridge, Salopian, Fat Cat, Harvey’s, Magic Rock, Gipsy Hill, Green Jack, Broadoak Cider, Gwynt y Ddraig.

For non-beer drinkers, there will be a Prosecco Pimms & Gin Bar serving an array of gins. There are garden games for kids: giant Jenga, Boules, Quoits, Horse Shoe Pitching and Skittles.

Festival Food will be served outside on both days with the main menu available in the pub. Ice cream, strawberries and cream as well as various other bar snacks will be available throughout the day.

The event is fully tented in case of showers. There is no parking on site so visitors are advised to park in the main village car park situated on Mill Lane. The festival is FREE on both days and bookings and be made for tables in the pub or on the terrace (but not the garden where the music is). There are bails of straw to sit on and picnic benches to eat from but visitors can also bring their own camping chairs or rugs. Dogs are allowed and there will be lots of bowls of water and bins located around the garden and courtyard.
