Keep the family active, connected and inspired with a variety of fabulous free activities this May Half Term.

Events in Colchester are taking place on Monday 30 May to Thursday 2 June at Firstsite gallery.

On Monday to Wednesday free drop-in art sessions will be running from 10am- 2:30pm. Children can also take part in sports and movement-based activities and the whole family can tuck into delicious lunch.

On Thursday 2 June, families can take part in an artist-led art activities between 10am – 12pm and then collect a free takeaway which they can then take to the Community Picnic in the Park taking place in Colchester Castle Park in celebration of the Jubilee.

Every activity has been designed for youngsters aged between 4 and 11, but all ages are welcome. Spaces for all sport and meals, including the Jubliee takeaway must be booked in advance

Early bird tickets will be available to book via www.firstsite.uk or by calling 01206 713 700 from 9am on Friday 20 May to Thursday 26 May.

More tickets will be released three days in advance of each session. With limited spaces available - early booking is advised. There's no need to book for art sessions, so feel free to come in and get creative
