About

The Three Horseshoes is a family-run country pub and restaurant. Born out of a passion for great food and hospitality, Moira, Sam, Abbie and team are committed to bringing you the very best produce, friendly service, fantastic wines, and a great selection of local beers.

There are reservable tables for dining only, a pub and dining area that welcomes dogs & muddy boots, and a large secluded garden and terrace for those sunny days and evenings. Large parties and families are welcome with kids’ menus and colouring for the little ones.

The Three Horseshoes is ideal for large groups or private dining. The pub can also be hired exclusively for weddings.

Located on the outskirts of Colchester surrounded by open fields and woodland, the pub is open five days a week and was recently awarded 2 rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide.

Sunday roast is served every weekend alongside a small selection of a la carte dishes.

Looking out over Woodland Trust land, The Three Horseshoes is a popular spot for walkers.

The newly refurbished new-look Coffee Shed is Open Wednesday to Sunday till 2pm. Freshly made croissants and sausage rolls have always been a big hit at The Coffee Shed, but there is now the addition of paninis, cro-buns, seasonal fruit, locally-made TEMPRD chocolate and old-fashioned sweets. Freshly baked artisan sourdough, Sticky Pickle chutneys and handmade greetings cards by artist Melanie Butcher are also available to takeaway. Covered baneuette seating and a garden area is avalable for those wishing to eat-in.
