The Press and Media team work to promote Essex; spreading the word about this unique and inspirational part of the UK. We work with visitor attractions, activity providers, accommodation establishments and other tourism related businesses to ensure Essex remains a leading visitor destination. We are happy to work with local, regional, national and international publications and broadcasters to develop content to meet your media outlets needs. We are also happy to consider journalists and broadcast media trip requests and itinerary planning.

Essex has many locations that are perfect for filming and for the broadcast media in general. Whether you are looking for historic houses to stately homes, coastal to countryside locations we can help. Essex is not far from studios in Hertfordshire and London, airport hangars, urban locations as well as coastal landscapes. If members of the media would like to obtain a quote or interview with one of Visit Essex’s ambassadors or spokespersons please contact us. Please note ideally we require at least two-weeks’ notice to arrange interviews with Visit Essex’s Acting Chairman for Visit Essex and / or the Visit Essex Strategic Manager but understand that this is not always possible. To ensure that we can meet needs as best we can please send your questions in advance.
