Walled Garden & Orangery

A SPECIAL DAY DESERVES A SPECIAL VENUE

At Hatfield Place, the Walled Garden & Orangery has been carefully designed to create the perfect balance of the English country garden with modern stylish architecture, simply stunning.

Just a stone’s throw from the main house, this beautiful red brick Walled Garden cascades over three tiers, with each tier encompassing manicured lawns, rose beds, blossom trees, box hedging. and so much more...

Positioned in the centre of the garden is our pretty oak pergola which is licensed for outdoor weddings and offers the most pretty and tranquil setting for your exchange of vows.  On warm weather days, your guests can enjoy a welcome drink and canapes in this glorious setting.

Situated on the lower tier is our stunning Orangery providing a contemporary light filled space overlooking the picturesque view of the gardens. This beautiful room with its full-length windows, natural oak floor and part exposed brickwork offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern-day chic. This space is perfect for your Wedding Breakfast and evening reception with full bar, twinkly dance floor and seating from 60 up to 200 guests.

Catering is provided by our two premium suppliers with each one offering a selection of delicious mouth-watering menus ranging from sharing platters, summer vibe barbecues and of course not forgetting the traditional three course sit-down.

During the evening, the lights are lowered and our twinkly dance floor beckons you to boogie the night away to sounds of our DJ or a live band... the choice is yours.

For those guests who wish to have a little break from the party, the Foyer area offers a comfy and relaxing space, beautifully furnished with hand painted murals, soft furnishings and ambient lighting.
