About

Layer Marney provides the most romantic and beautiful locations for your wedding. The Tudor buildings are surrounded by picturesque gardens set in attractive parkland, with views across to the Blackwater Estuary.

Steeped in 500 years of history, it is the ideal place to celebrate your marriage, church or a garden wedding venue and has been skilfully adapted to meet the requirements of the twenty first century bride. With options to cater from 40 to 120 guests which are surprisingly affordable. The new Essex Barn offers further possibilities whatever the weather.

With rooms licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and the parish church within the grounds you can choose either a civil or religious wedding ceremony at Layer Marney Tower. We have been helping couples make their dreams come true for over 25 years.
