The open parkland at Thorndon South is busy with families enjoying picnics. Take in views across countryside as far as Canary Wharf or fly a kite on one of its many hills.
You can fish a the park every day during park opening hours (night fishing is forbidden). Fishing requires a permit and an Environment Agency rod license (from ages 12+).
