Westcliff-on-Sea is a seaside suburb neighbouring Southend-on-Sea with views overlooking the Thames estuary. Westcliff has the famous Cliffs Pavillion a premier entertainment complex which is the region's leading theatre and concert hall, programmes include touring West End musicals, ballet, concerts and comedy. The area also features a popular yacht club, The Palace Theatre and the Westcliff Casino. Westcliff is popular during the summer months due to Westcliff beach being away from the crowds who flock to neighbouring Southend-on-Sea.
