People dressed in period costume on the stairs

About

Come and join us on 7th, 8th or 9th December for a morning tour of the house followed by a delicious Christmas lunch and then watch Beatrix Potter's The Tailor of Gloucester. Finish the day off with mulled wine, mince pies and some Carol singing.

Alternatively on Saturday 11th December bring all the family in the afternoon to make finger mice for their part in The Tailor of Gloucester, performed in the recently restored Essex Barn. After the Tailor's happy ending join us for a glass of squash, a Christmas biscuit and some Christmas Carols.

On Monday 13th December we extend an 'Invitation to View' at 6.30pm. This is a unique way of learning a little history and a few stories about Layer Marney Tower and see it dressed for the family Christmas, with log fires and candles, mulled wine and mince pies.
