The Tempest Mercury Adult

About

The Mercury Adult Company presents The Tempest

As part of 2024’s Colchester Fringe Festival, the Mercury’s Adult Company will be performing an hour-long abridged version of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

Join Prospera as she seeks her revenge. Join Caliban as he claims back what is rightfully his. Join twenty cast members as they tell a tale as old as time. And finally, join us in the magical island of…. Mersea?!

With themes of magic and betrayal, a violent storm and a fringe-sized twist, come and enjoy one of Shakespeare’s most loved comedies in a way never seen before!

The Mercury Adult Company is one of our Taking Part activities at the theatre and have been working on different projects over the past two years. Come and see our community cast perform their first public production in the Studio!
