Southend bandstand

About

An afternoon of entertainment by the Essex Concert Band on Layer de la Haye Recreation Ground on Sunday 11th July. David Barnes, who is a member of the band and lives in the village, is very kindly organising this for us.
The concert will consist of a programme of light, easy listening, popular music and will run from 3pm to 5pm. People should bring their own chairs, refreshments, blankets etc. If the weather is bad, it will be held in the Village Hall. The concert will be free, but a collection will be held for a local charity (details to be announced).
Hope to see you all there."
