As part of this year's Heritage Open Days, Topsail Charters is opening its Thames Sailing Barges Thistle and Hydrogen so visitors can climb aboard and explore a bit more of Maldon's incredible maritime heritage.
Refreshments are available. Barges may have slippery decks, gang planks and steep steps, please phone for full accessability advice.

By Road:Maldon Quay - from A12 South take A414 for Danbury and Maldon and follow into Maldon. Follow signs for town Centre and come down High Street. At bottom of high street, take left fork down Church Street to Quay. Parking at bottom of High Street in Edward Bright Close (Marked "P-Hythe Quay".
