Mountfitchet Castle is running a Halloween pumpkin trail and catapult event. On your visit with us you can find the hidden pumpkins around the castle and House on the Hill museum and children will win a prize for completing the trail. You can also take part in our unique medieval catapult firing where pumpkins will be fired 2pm daily at witches and skeletons! Mountfitchet Castle is easy to get to from all directions and is only 2 miles from Junction 8 of the M11 – just follow the brown tourist signs to the centre of Stansted Mountfitchet village.
