The popular Power of Gaming project is offering fun gaming session during the Easter Break as part of the Essex ActivATE
Power of Gaming is pleased to be offering a series of 5 hour gaming sessions for eligible school children in the Maldon District. Events are aimed at children in years 5 and 6 and Secondary school age
Come along to the Maldon Town Hall f to take part in a range of gaming activities across a variety of consoles from Playstation to Xbox and all of the retro classics there will be something for everyone to try. We will even get you getting up and active with the Nintendo WII.
Listening to feedback from previous sessions we will also be running some Minecraft activities and have a range of handheld consoles!
Previous holiday events have taken place in the mornings however we have moved these to the afternoons and added an extra hour on the end . Our events now start at either midday or 1pm. Please check which time when you are booking your session.
Event attendees will also get a light sandwich lunch on arrival and hot meal in the evening.
These sessions are funded by the Department of Education and are for children on benefit based free school meals of school age. Schools will be giving eligible families a voucher code which you will need to add to your registration form on booking.
