Celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in Shalford with four days of events starting at 2pm On Thursday with the proclamation on the village hall playing field, followed by music and refreshments that evening and the lighting of the beacon at 9.45pm.

On Friday there will be a meet and greet at the village hall then the historical society will host films, displays and refreshments in the evening.

Saturday there is a morning Jubilee walk followed by a village fete on the playing fields.

On Sunday there will be a Big Jubilee Lunch and rounders tournament on the playing fields and a church service at 6pm to round off the weekend.
