About

Unlimited rides on a train hauled by one of our vintage Steam Locomotives.
During our Steam Days, The Museum is open for you to look around the various buildings, trains, displays and exhibits – details of what you can see can be found on our Standard Museum Admission page, with the added attraction of one of our heritage trains running, hauled by one of our home fleet of steam locomotives running on our demonstration line.

A firm favourite with families, they're a great opportunity to visit the Museum and have a ride in vintage wagons or carriages pulled by one of our restored Steam Engines.

We operate unlimited rides starting at either 10:30 or 11:00 * – 15:00, the Museum opens at 10:00 right through until 17:00.*11:00 start when a Driver Experience Session takes place first.

Our Miniature Railway is planned to be running during our Steam Days.
