About

A Piece of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Pageant Parade Comes to Tilbury! A section of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Pageant called The Thank You Dance is coming to Tilbury for the T100 festival finale and Port Open Day!

The Thank You Dance will be a visually arresting spectacle made up of over 200 performers drawn from across generations from Thurrock, London and Milton Keynes, covered in hand-painted silks, and holding vibrant flags designed and made by community groups from Tilbury, Grays, Purfleet-on-Thames and Milton Keynes.

The Thank You Dance is a Thank You to the Queen for 70 years of public service and a Thank You to our key workers and all those who selflessly contribute to society, looking after our communities and laying the foundation for a better life for generations to come.

The Thank You Dance Parade will leave Tilbury Civc Square at 13:00, and will arrive at the Cruise Terminal at 14:30. Don't miss it!

If you'd like to attend the flag waving workshop and dance along with the parade, please meet us at the registration point in Anchor Fields Park. If you'd like to view the procession, please meet at Civic Square or any safe roadside pavement along the route.

If you'd just like to attend the Port Open Day, and not join any walks, this is free, open to all and doesn't need to be booked, join us there!
