This unique holiday cottage is set in the grounds of Audley End House, one of England’s finest stately homes. Cambridge Lodge is a two-bedroom holiday cottage that comfortably sleeps four people and offers ample space for a group getaway.
Built in 1843, your stay will transport you to Victorian England, with the cottage's ornate architecture and impressive views over the lawns to the River Cam it will .

Designed to help entice royalty to come and stay, Audley End House succeeded on multiple occasions, playing host to Elizabeth I, James I and ultimately being owned by Charles II. Today the house’s interior largely represents the taste of the third Baron Braybrooke, who redecorated many of its rooms in the Jacobean style during the 1820s.
Spend your days exploring the mansion house and sampling Victorian life above and below stairs. Learn from the Victorian staff in the atmospheric Service Wing, wander through the tranquil gardens and visit the horses in the Victorian stable yard. Discover the nursery used by the eight Braybrooke children now restored to its former 1830s glory.
Close by are the many delights of the market town of Saffron Walden. Just a stone’s throw away from London - it feels a world away with its rural farmland and vineyards ripe to be explored.
