About

The showpiece is a giant steam pumping engine. Displays include historic engines, electrical equipment, domestic appliance and an Edwardian workshop. There is a tearoom and a picnic area in the wooded riverside grounds. A miniature steam railway runs around the site on some weekends. Educational worksheets can be downloaded from website, free preliminary visit for teacher and teacher and pupil resource pack.
Steam railway runs on event days only.
