Belfairs Woodland Nature Discovery Park

Belfair’s Woodland is an important gateway to the Belfair’s & Daws Heath Living Landscape, in south Essex. Much of the woodland is officially ‘ancient woodland’; some is more than 1,000 years old, making it the earliest woodland recorded in Essex. The dormouse, heath fritillary butterfly and song thrush are key species here.

Walk, explore and play on site, there is something for everyone to discover!

Car parking and electric car charging points on site. Toilets disabled and baby change facilities also available in the Nature Discovery Centre.
