Housed within the Archive is an extensive collection of original designs and fabrics by leading designers and artists who were commissioned by Warner and Sons to produce fabric designs for Royal palaces, stately homes, cruise liners and hotels. The Archive also includes documents and photographs relating to the history of Warner & Sons business in Braintree.
The Warner Gallery open to the public, is a celebration of the fabrics and designs within the Archive. Every drawer and display case takes the visitor on an exciting visual voyage of discovery, looking at textiles, costume and original designs.
The Warner Textile Archive is part of the Braintree District Museum Trust. Enjoy free entry to Braintree Museum within one month of your visit to the Archive by showing them your Archive entry ticket.
