About

Colchester's Castle Park is the jewell in Colchester's crown!. An oasis in the heart of Colchester town centre, Castle Park provides a perfect setting for a quiet stroll, play in the childrens play area, picnic amongst the wonderful trees and flowers or admire the fantastic historical backdrop which is Colchester Castle. Cafe in the Park is the perfect spot for some light refreshments on a summer's day and if you are lucky you may catch the sounds of a band playing in the Victorian Bandstand.

Castle Park hosts a huge range of events throughout the year including shows, festivals and concerts.

A mini golf course can be found in the lower park, and during the warmer months swan pedalos operate on the boating lake.
