We are the ideal venue, whether you are a junior golfer, a beginner, a returning or established golfer, just looking to play for fun or not a golfer at all!

We provide a friendly relaxed atmosphere, where everyone can enjoy our brand new DOUBLE-STOREY floodlit TopTracer Driving Range, our 3-hole beginner course or our picturesque 9-hole golf course. We also have a 1066 themed Adventure Golf Course and a Footgolf course - there's so much to do here for all the family!

Formerly known as Elsenham Golf & Leisure, Golf World Stansted is set in beautiful Essex countryside near Stansted Airport and includes a modern gym, a restaurant, a bar and a function room. We host regular events, parties and weddings as well as many social activities and events.

Road Directions

From the M11, coming from the north

Turn off at Junction 8, which is signposted for the A120, Colchester and Bishops Stortford. The slip road will lead you up to a big roundabout, take the 1st exit here, which is the A120 East turn off heading towards Colchester. After about 500 hundred yards you will come to another big roundabout. Take the 3rd exit which takes you up onto the A120. After about ½ a mile take the slip road up to Airport. (Then follow the instructions below, from Stansted Airport)

From the M11, coming from the south

Turn off at Junction 8, this is a two part junction with two slip roads, take the second slip road sign posted to Colchester on the A120, heading east. Follow the slip road up and over the M11 and continue for about ¾ of a mile until you get to the Airport slip road, turn off here. (Then follow the instructions below, from Stansted Airport)

From Stansted Airport

After exiting the A120 from either west or east, you will come onto the Bassingbourn roundabout, Proceed north towards the Airport terminal building. At the next roundabout (Coopers End) turn right to a mini roundabout and immediately left towards Mole Hill Green. Drive for 2.4 miles on this road and you will see the Golf Club entrance on your right just past Gaunts End.

From Stansted Mountfitchet

From the B1383 heading north turn right into Chapel Hill after approx 500 metres bear left into Lower Street and immediately right into Grove Hill (B1051). Follow this road until you cross over the M11 motorway. You are now approaching Elsenham Village. Head east through the village going straight across the mini roundabout towards Henham and Broxted. At the next junction (500 metres) turn right into Hall Road (Opposite the Crown Pub). Follow this road for 1 mile and you will see the Golf club entrance on your left.
