About
Did you know our site covers 170 acres? That's the size of 110 stadium football pitches put together! This massive space means a long history of carting gunpowder from place to place and we came up with some clever ways of doing it over the years.
In this workshop, we'll explore the transport of the Mills starting with a ride on our miniature railway. Then we'll take a scenic trip on our industrial Gunpowder railway and look out for different buildings, animals, and plant-life along the way.
We'll go to see one of our powder boats that traveled up and down our countless canals. Then, we'll have a go at making our own powder boat models and racing them down a miniature canal.
Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity for your child to have a summer adventure they won't forget. Sign up now for the All Aboard! Children's Summer Workshop - Morning session!
