Archaeology Day at the Roman Circus Visitor Centre

About

Colchester Roman Circus Centre hosts a free archaeological family fun day crammed with archaeology-related stalls and activities in conjunction with the Council for British Archaeology’s Festival of Archaeology .

How about digging up some finds in our sand pit, or getting hands on with some real Roman artefacts. Find your way around our very own Roman Circus with an activity trail, and meet some of Colchester’s finest archaeologists. Grab a bite to eat in The Roman Circus Café, and enjoy a few hours exploring Britain’s only-known Roman chariot racing track and visitor centre.

With a bit of fun for the whole family, we hope to see you there!

Food and drink is available in the on site cafe.
No pre-booking required, just turn up.
