In this workshop you will have an introduction of the ancient skill of marbling. We will begin with brief discussion on the materials used to create the size, how the paint is mixed, the paper prepared and how to choose your colour palette. You will get to work creating your own decorative papers whilst trying your hand at some of the basic patterns including stone, swirl and git-gel as well as marbling 3D objects.
You will leave the workshop with your own set of 3 ceramic marbled baubles, and set of gift tags and a range of papers which you can turn into Christmas cards, accent wrapping paper or even use for covering books.
