On Saturday, Timothy Duke, Anthony Musson, Tracy Borman, Susan Jenkins and David Bettley will be giving talks on a range of topics from Heralds & Funeral Processions, The 1522 Royal Progress, Anne Boleyn, the role of funeral effigies and Tudor Architecture in Essex. On Sunday, Professor Steven Gunn, Dr David Starkey and Susan Moore will bring our very own creator of Layer Marney Tower to life as they delve into the history of Henry Marney and his relevance to the young Henry VIII. Tickets include entrance to the tower and church. Our tea-room will be open for light lunches or you are welcome to bring a picnic.
