About

John Harvey returns to The Driftwood Gallery with his son Chris Harvey. Their joint exhibition is aptly called 'My Dad and Me'. John will display his paintings alongside intriguing colourful ceramics depicting well known folklore. His son, Chris, will exhibit fabulous tactile wood artworks. Chris says "I describe myself as a woodturning artist...Wood comes to the artist with an irrevocable history, with stories of season and weather and surrounding flora and fauna written into its rings. Each raw piece is a character, fully formed, and it brings a specific set of conditions to those who set out to "turn" it. Please note this exhibition runs for a fortnight in August.
