About
This month's walk explores the fascinating sculpture trail in the River Lee Country Park. A beautiful walk around lakes and woodland as well as the statues on the route you may see some of the wildlife they reflect. You will see many things around this 1,000-acre country park and learn about some of the history through the sculptures you will see.
Walkers love this area due to the network of all-weather paths. A great spring walk that is easy to complete in a wetland setting. The ex-gravel pit diggings are now a haven for wildlife and great for dog walking and cycling as well.
The walk will also take you down to Hall Marsh Scrape one of our key wetland sites in the country park where you can see wildfowl, waders and herons. Photographers also love this site for some of the scenic views and bring you camera if you want some beautiful countryside shots.
