About
Our brand new Escape Room is now open - The King's Lost Jewels
Famous treasure hunter and historian George Alderman is rumoured to have found King John's Jewels. His collection of historical items is said to hold the key to unlocking the secrets of the Essex Magna Carta Barons and lead directly to a secret holding place for the treasure. Can you solve the puzzle before it's too late?
Recommended for ages 10+ but fun and challenging for adults too. Younger children welcome if attending in a family group.
Please note: the Escape Room is located on the top floor of the castle, which is quite a climb, some 80+ winding stairs up. As such, we regret that it is unsuitable for wheelchair users or pram access as we do not have a lift. Suitable (sturdy/comfy) footwear is essential. Whilst the room is heated, it can be rather chilly in the castle so please wear warm clothing.
