There are many interesting and historical places to visit in and around Sible Hedingham for the tourist including Alderford Watermill, Broakes wood is owned by the Forestry Commission and is on the outskirts of the village. Hedingham Castle is the finest Norman Keep in Europe and can be found in Castle Hedingham as too can the Colne Valley Railway.
