About

Join ESO for our Autumn concert! Weber's Bassoon Concerto, a piece by international soloist Laurence Perkins is part of a project celebrating the work's 200th anniversary. Amy Beach's Gaelic symphony, premiered in 1896, was the first symphony by an American woman to be published and gain public attention. Written in response to Dvorak's call for American composers to explore their musical roots, Beach's work is inspired by beautiful Irish melodies of the immigrant community of her native Boston. Dvorak's overture, In Nature's Realm, begins our celebration of Winter season. Tickets: £15.00 / Under 18's FREE! Go to https://www.essexsymphony.org.uk OR TicketSource.
