About
Featuring a two and a half hour walk around the 170-acre site; the gentle tour provides a unique chance to safely explore some of the restricted access areas of the only surviving and virtually intact, gunpowder mill in the UK.
This historic site which is of special scientific interest, is home to an abundance of flourishing nature and plentiful wildlife, including its curious, and often seen herd of fallow deer. And, crisscrossed by a now disused canal system, the site contains extraordinary buildings and structures that showcase an intriguing 'lost world' set within a woodland.
