Step into the New Year with a relaxing spa break in Essex; the county’s tourism organisation, Visit Essex, provides the lowdown on the best places to detox, pamper and relax in the county.
Glass House Spa Retreat
Transform body and soul at The Glass House; the spa retreat is a stylish cubist temple of wellbeing set a stone’s throw from Brentwood. The spa retreat offers all the facilities you need to get fit, detox, and chill out. You can also cleanse away life’s impurities and feel renewed with their vegan menu to help balance nutrition, aid digestion, and boost heart health.
Set in the Essex countryside, The Glass House boasts amazing facilities to totally rejuvenate, such as a heated leisure pool, Scandinavian style salt block sauna and steam room. Enjoy a visit to Greenwoods Hotel & Spa and escape the hustle and bustle of life. Set in stunning grounds, the hotel is a Grade II Listed 17th Century manor house which has been lovingly restored. Relax and enjoy the leisure facilities on offer, which include a fitness suite fitted with the latest Life Fitness equipment, a 20-metre lap indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and a studio offering a wide variety of exercise classes.
