Escape Rooms are one hour activities in which you and you and your team have one hour to solve the puzzles, unlock the riddles and escape.

We’re Know Escape, and we love love love love love making amazing Escape Rooms! We have three venues in Hertfordshire and Essex, and are a family run business which focuses completely on Escape Games!  Chelmsford Escape Rooms is Chelmsford’s Number 1 (Trip Advisor) Live Escape Game Experience!  Our live escape games are immersive, action packed and fun! In teams of 2-8 people come and see if you can escape our rooms in 60 minutes or less.  Sounds scary? It’s really not; a little common sense and logical thinking will get you a long way! (and don’t forget to work together!!!)

Our Games

The Governor - You and your team of paranormal investigators are exploring the remains of HM Greenslade Prison when you are captured, blindfolded, handcuffed and find yourselves locked in a cell. You have one hour to escape.  Will you make it out?

The Last Testament - You arrive at your Uncle’s now deserted house, the power is off and it’s dark and dusty!You have been summoned to attend the will reading of your great uncle,  Reginald B. Appleyard.  Reg has lived on the premises all of his life, you know very little about him and you’ve never bothered to write, call or visit. The solicitor has an envelope, inside which is a VHS tape.  What has uncle Reg got to say? Why does he want you? What is the secret?

Crazy Cat Lady - You’ve promised The Crazy Cat Lady you’ll look after her cats while she is away.  In one hour she’ll be home and all six cats have been mischievous and are missing.  You have one hour to find the cats and get out of her house before she returns.

Games are booked exclusively (you never play with strangers) and (unlike some of our competitors) each game is monitored live by a dedicated games master in the game control room, they will look after you for your entire game, to make sure you have the best fun ever!

So, in teams of 2-10 people come and see if you can escape our games in 60 minutes or less!
