Stock is a village and civil parish in south Essex and is near Chelmsford. The village features three public houses, The Hoop, The Bear and The Bakers Arms, a village shop, post office, restaurant, a primary school and a coffee shop. The village also has Iconic Stock windmill and Greenwoods Spa and Hotel. Stock also has three churches, the Church of England Parish Church of All Saints', The Catholic Church of Our Lady and the St. Joesph and Christ Church.

Greenwoods Hotel Spa and Retreat is a beautiful 17th Century, Grade II listed manor house set in extensive landscaped gardens and is the perfect venue for events, spa days or residential stays.
